Boston Calling 2025 lineup is here with Luke Combs, Fall Out Boy and Dave Matthews Band headlining
More than 50 performances are happening during Boston Calling when it returns in May—and now we know who’s on the bill.
As 2025 gets underway, it’s time to get psyched for one of Boston's biggest annual events. Boston Calling returns over Memorial Day Weekend to the Harvard Athletic Complex in Lower Allston. Happening May 23–25 this year, it's a great kickoff to a summer of live music in Boston.
The lineup of performers typically comes out in January, and trust we'll keep you posted. The weekend often includes comedy, fun installations and awesome local food, too. Here’s what you need to know.
What is Boston Calling?
Now in its 13th iteration, Boston Calling is an all-ages music festival produced by C3 Presents, one of the largest concert promoters in the U.S.
When is Boston Calling?
The festival is always on Memorial Day Weekend. This year, it's Friday, May 23–Sunday, May 25, 2025.
Where is Boston Calling?
Boston Calling happens at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Lower Allston (since 2016), which is a short walk over the Charles River from Harvard Square in Cambridge. It's mainly an outdoor festival, though an air-conditioned, indoor arena is slated to return in 2025.
When do Boston Calling tickets go on sale?
Typically the lineup and ticket sales are announced in January. Last year's Chase Presale, exclusive to certain credit cardholders, happened January 11–13. Stay tuned for this year's info.
How much are Boston Calling tickets?
Organizers have teased certain lower ticket prices for 2025. Time Out has asked for more info and will keep you updated!
Historically, passes have ranged from about $190–$1,400, for single-day tickets to Platinum VIP weekend packages. Boston Calling is not a camping festival, so you'll need to plan for a place to stay for the weekend if you're not local. We have some ideas!
What does the Boston Calling lineup look like?
The rock and pop-inflected lineups have gotten more and more star-studded since the festival's first iteration in 2013—including on-the-rise artists like Noah Kahan in 2023 and Chappell Roan in 2024. Headliners in 2024 included Ed Sheeran, Tyler Childers and The Killers. There is also always a stage focused on homegrown, local talent and a smattering of national indie and country acts, as well.
Will Boston Calling be livestreamed?
Historically it has not been. You gotta be there!
