More than 50 performances are happening during Boston Calling when it returns in May—and now we know who’s on the bill. (And what’s on the food menu.) Luke Combs, Fall Out Boy and Dave Matthews Band are headlining the three-day music festival in Lower Allston, which will operate with a slightly tweaked setup aimed at improving the experience for fans. Undercard acts include a mix of 90s and 2000s throwbacks—like Sheryl Crow, TLC, Avril Lavigne, T-Pain and more—as well as rising stars in country music and R&B, indie artists and a dozen local performers. The festival runs Memorial Day Weekend form May 23–25.
Peep the full daily lineup at the bottom of this post (the full schedule of performance times is TBA).
The preliminary spread of food options that will be available was also just announced. Get hungry for festie favorites Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, Tasty Burger, FoMu Ice Cream, Jaju Pierogi and more choices, from what’s dubbed the Doordash Food Village this year. Sam Adams, Miller Lite, Red Bull and Josh Cellars are listed among the concession partners, so expect sips from them. Stay tuned for more info about expanded culinary and beverage offerings that will be available for various levels of ticketholders.
Presale for tickets starts Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 10am, including options for single-day and weekend general admission passes, GA+ (which grants access to a reserve lounge with an upgraded bar, restrooms and shade), VIP and Platinum tickets, which include exclusive viewing areas, parking packages and other perks. Prices weren’t immediately available in today's announcement, but Boston Calling organizers say that “some ticket prices have been reduced to provide added value and accessibility for fans in 2025.” Historically, passes have ranged from about $190–$1,400.
Boston Calling is planning a revamped layout for this year’s fest, aimed at easing crowdflow and congestion issues some fans complained about last year. The biggest change is a new, combined Red and Green stage that rotates “for a seamless, immersive” viewing experience, and is equipped with enhanced audio and visual capabilities. There will also be additional water stations throughout the grounds, as well as an air-conditioned, indoor arena onsite so folks can take a breather when they need to.
Of course, the 100-foot ferris wheel is making its triumphant return to the Harvard Athletic Complex. Here's who will be on stage:
