A few days ago we got to visit not one, but two amazing places that I have never been to before and they were both inside the Trafford Centre.
First we went to the Sea Life centre. We were so excited to go and see 'under the sea!' I felt like a pop star at first because we had to have our picture taken as soon as we got into the centre. When we walked through the first cave we got to see where turtles came from and they showed us a little film about how they get to the sea when they are born. They were so cute.
We had to walk through all the secret caves to get to the different fish so it was like I was under the sea with my sisters. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how many creatures were in front of us, and even my favourites, the clown fish, were swimming over a tunnel that me, Skye and Harper could walk through. Then we had to walk past the jellyfish but I ran because I don't like them. Yuk!
At the next cave there was a massive tunnel that we walked under and it was like we we're swimming with sharks, turtles and fish, it was so cool we stayed in the tunnel for ages. The next corner we turned was amazing. We got to see a giant swimming pool with stingrays in, and they swam to the top so that people could take photos and there were little holes on the sides so all of the kids could see them too. Mummy was so excited because she loves stingrays so we stayed there for a very long time too taking lots of pictures. The lady on the microphone told us why we should not touch any of the fish because we would hurt their skin and they might hurt us too. On the way out we saw a man swimming with the fish in a huge tank because some grown ups like to do that and with a special diver he was allowed to go in. It was very funny to watch because it was like a giant fish tank.
We had such a great time under the sea and would love to go back again soon.
The next stop was Legoland which was very close by. As soon as we got in, we had another photo taken which mum bought at the end of the trip. We were told the story of Lego by Professor Brick and the kids had to help him fix his Lego machine to get it working again so we could all take a brick home with us.
We got to go on a ride next and we had to rescue the princess by beating the bad guys in our Lego cart, even Harper, my baby sister, got to go on it and she was laughing all the way round. When we got off the ride we went into mini land so we all felt like giants walking around mini Lego Blackpool, London, Liverpool and we even saw the Beatles made out of Lego playing their guitars at a little disco, (note from mum, that 'little disco' is the Cavern Club!) Then, mum and Skye got to go on another ride and had to pedal faster and faster to go higher and higher. I stayed on the floor with dad. And we sang on the Lego karaoke, in the Lego house next to the Lego go carts. I have never seen so much Lego in my whole life!
We walked past the cinema and got to play in the biggest play area ever, it wasn't made of Lego but it was so much fun that I didn't mind. We are definitely going back because we had such a great time.
