This long-established family-owned café and pasticciere makes one of the smoothest cappuccini in town, and some very delicious cakes to go with it. If it’s ice-cream you fancy, all the flavours are made on the premises.
There’s a good lunch spread, with interesting sandwiches and filled rolls, as well as pastas and simple salads. The candied fruit in intriguing jars and piles of sugared rose buds and violet leaves are delightful. There’s another location at Castello 6778, campo Santi Giovanni e Paolo (041 522 7949).
