Time Out Market – the food and cultural market that brings the best of the city together under one roof – is set to open its very first location in Asia on 21st March 2025. Situated in the heart of Osaka, Time Out Market will showcase the best local chefs, renowned restaurateurs, bars and cultural experiences, based on Time Out’s editorial curation – making it a key food and cultural destination in the city.

Spanning over 3,000 square metres, Time Out Market Osaka will put a spotlight on the city and Kansai’s award-winning chefs, much loved local gems and rising talents – with 17 kitchens and two bars serving up an exciting mix of flavours. From authentic Japanese cuisine and modern Mexican dishes, to Korean-inspired creations and gourmet burgers, there will be something for everyone.

Time Out Market Osaka will bring people together, both locals and visitors to the city, over unique and unforgettable culinary and cultural experiences – it will be a vibrant place for everyone to get a real taste of Osaka, where friends and family can socialise over incredible food while immersing themselves in local culture.

In partnership with real estate developer Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corporation, Time Out Market Osaka will be a part of the new Grand Green Osaka development. A former cargo yard turned multipurpose development, the site is designed to incorporate more art, culture and leisure into everyday city life. The urban complex will feature offices, hotels, commercial facilities and an urban park.
