The Time Out Academy, our kitchen in the middle of the food hall, is the ideal space for events, for you, your group or your company. It is fully equipped to hold culinary events, from kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, and of course, support from our team. It also offers 22 seats, allowing all your guests to enjoy their meal within the space. We organize events tailored to your needs, from team building sessions, business events, brand activations, parties or workshops. We are available to find the best solution for your group.

If what you find these days on the ground floor of the Mercado da Ribeira represents the best of what there is to eat in Lisbon, then what you will find at the Time Out Studio, on the first floor, are the city’s best events, selected and approved by the Time Out brand’s curators. From cosy concerts in which you might be within a metre of the artist on stage, to big shows, conferences, fairs and themed events – there is a bit of everything here. This 400-square-metre space, with a view of the traditional market and restaurants downstairs, has all the equipment needed even for large-scale shows staged by Portuguese or foreign promoters.

Time Out Market Cards are individual cards which are pre-loaded with a chosen amount of money, making the logistics of organising a lunch or dinner much simpler. For guests, they offer great flexibility, allowing them to pick whatever they want to eat from any restaurant in the market and use the card balance across different stalls.

These cards are valid at all Time Out Market venues. The number of cards and the amount loaded on each is determined by the client, with a minimum of €15 per card. Simply place your order and collect the cards from the Time Out Shop on the day of your event.
