Spice Alley
Tucked behind the Kensington Street laneway in Chippendale, the open-air courtyard is serving up hawker style dishes from across the globe.
Sandwiched between Cleveland Street and Broadway, and a longtime favourite of the Sydney Univrsity set, Chippo packs a lot of punch for a little fella. The area is home to the Central Park development to the old Carlton & United brewery site – and there’s increasingly tonnes of eating, drinking and art-watching to be done.
Hit up the always excellent White Rabbit Gallery, party all night at the multi-level Abercrombie – and no visit to Chippendale is complete without a stroll down the Spice Alley laneway.
