Why we’ve changed our logo to Time In – for now

Bringing you the best of Singapore while we all play our part to stay home and maintain social distance

Dear Singapore,

There’s nothing we love more than exploring the best that Singapore has to offer. But with the Ministry of Health announcing today the temporary closure of bars and entertainment venues like theatres and clubs, it’s with a heavy heart that we’re moving from Time Out to Time In – just for now.

We’re an amazing and resilient little city, and we know that we will bounce back from this together. We’ll continue championing the local businesses we love, whether it be the coolest new restaurant opening or latest gallery exhibition, and keeping you informed of what’s going on in the city. If there’s anything you think deserves a shout, reach out to us at contact.tosg@timeout.com and we’ll help in any way we can.

While we all spend more time at home and maintain social distance, we still want to bring you the best of Singapore – even if you’re enjoying it from your couch. We’ll be talking to bartenders for cocktail recipes you can try your hand at as well as recommending great made-in-Singapore content to consume without leaving the bed. Plus you can count on us to suggest excellent movies and TV programmes to keep you entertained.

As Phua Chu Kang says, Singapore be steady. Let’s stay united in fighting Covid-19 by playing our part. Until we can once again share a laugh at the cinema or have a pint at the pub, be safe and love one another.
