Be whisked away into the Arabian night at this Middle Eastern restaurant along Peck Seah Street. The Prince sets the scene for romance, with interiors inspired by the mystical, enigmatic Arabian Desert – think dimmed lights, sandstone walls, rustic furniture, and Arabesque motifs. Dinner is a warm display of Arabian hospitality, with the signature ‘karam’ (meaning ‘generosity’ in Arabic) menu (from $72 to $158 per person) offering a free-flow mezze spread and dessert of rose pavlova. The mezze platter is a colourful palette of nine dishes, with dips and sides like cashew hummus, steak tartare, and mushroom pastilla. Then move on to the mains, with options like the spiced tamarind Boston lobster (from $88) or wagyu tenderloin with chermoula and paprika oil. Wine pairings are available at a top of $75 per pax.

Inspired by the Queen of Hearts, its themed Valentine's Day dining experience (from $388 per couple) promises a feast fit for royalty with dishes like murasaki uni brioche, oxtail in light tomato broth, and the signature porterhouse steak paired with a choice of mashed potatoes or creamed spinach. Sweeten things up with the Ruby Desire dessert filled with cream, strawberry yuzu and white chocolate, followed by the gin-based Ain't A Peach cocktail. And that's not all – you'll also get a complimentary Polaroid photo to commemorate the evening, and a chance to win a romantic staycation at the InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay’s King Classic room.

A date night at The Singapore Edition is a flex in itself – the hotel is a picture of tropical sophistication with its white marbled lobby, domed ceilings, and lush foliage all around. And then there’s Fysh, the famous scale-to-tail restaurant by Josh Niland which makes its way from Australia. Niland’s reputation of expertly using every part of the fish in his cooking precedes him, but there’s no fishy business here. Instead, a four-course menu is what greets you this Valentine’s Day ($250 for two), inclusive of two flutes of Charles Heidsieck Rosé Champagne. Look forward to dishes like the raw wild Kingfish pearl; tapioca, perilla, and rose ponzu; and the barbecued Marron. But the highlights of the menu are no doubt Fysh’s iconic fish bone noodles in scallop XO butter, and the signature Yellowfin Tuna tenderloin.
