On a street famed for its arty, crafty studios, the Hotel Art sticks to its theme throughout. The lobby area – with white pods serving as check-in and concierge desks – sets the modern tone; only the ceiling retains a touch of the classic (the building was once a chapel). Hallways are in acidic shades of orange, yellow, green and blue, while the rooms themselves are decorated in a serene palette of neutrals, with parquet floors and chunky wood furniture. Free Wi-Fi (and a wireless keyboard) can be found in each of the 46 rooms.
