This year's Treasure Island Music Festival was a blast. Gifted to the city by the late great Warren Hellman, the free, three-day music fest Hardly Strictly Bluegrass returned to Golden Gate Park this fall for its 15th year of bluegrass, country and folk music. The weather was beautiful, the crowd was eclectic and friendly, and the stages hosted eye-crossing number of acts including Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell, Nick Lowe, Neko Case, Joe Jackson and Robert Earl Keen, to name but a few. We picked our way through the park, listening and snapping away—here are our best shots from the weekend. Enjoy!

Our best photos from SF Pride parade 2015

San Francisco, one of the first cities in the country to pass a gay rights ordinance back in the ’70s, has much to be proud of; and every year during SF Pride, the city's drag queens, leather daddies and dykes on bikes all take the opportunity to show off their true rainbow colors. This year's celebration consisted of just under 2 million revelers, and the vibes were especially high following a landmark SCOTUS decision on June 26 that declared same-sex marriage a right in all 50 states. It was a Pride for the ages, and we were there to capture the Parade's best moments.

Check out our 40 best photos from Treasure Island Music Fest 2016

2016 was the last year to enjoy the annual arts and music fest on Treasure Island, where it first kicked off in 2007. Rain and wind made for an eventful weekend, with die-hard fans braving the elements to see (most of) the scheduled sets. The Ferris wheel and silent disco were shut down for most of the weekend due to the inclement conditions, but the bands played on and the fest closed out on a high (if wet) note. Check out our best photos from the weekend below.                                                                                     Want more? Sign up here to stay in the know.
