Our mates at LondOntheInside have rounded up five things they’re pretty damn excited about this month.
Breddos X Tabasco TacOver series: Pjoltergeist Dinner, Clerkenwell, Aug 20-21
If you follow LondonOnTheInside on Instagram you’ll know we’re big fans of Breddos. And now there’s another reason to visit: Oslo’s Pjoltergesit are joining them in the kitchen for two days starting with a taco and mezcal party on Sunday, followed by a sit-down eight-course dinner on Monday. Sign us (and yourselves) up before this sells out!
Dead Rabbit pop-up at Claridge’s, Mayfair, Aug 15-22
NYC’s The Dead Rabbit, aka the best bar in the world, is setting up shop at Claridge’s and we’ll happily dig into our life savings for a few cocktails here. Their second-floor parlour is being re-created in the hotel, complete with their comic-book style menus and signature cocktails, so we’ll see you at the bar with a Psycho Killer – the drink that is!
Gin Festival, Tobacco Dock, Aug 25-27
Gin, mother’s ruin, Old Tom? Whatever you like to call it we can’t get enough of the stuff and we can’t wait to work our way round the Gin Festival at Tobacco Dock. With samples from Willem Barentsz, Ableforth’s and Masons, a gin cocktail bar, live music and a series of gin workshops, it’s got the makings of a ginny good weekend.
World’s Largest Inflatable Obstacle Course, Alexandra Palace, Aug 25-28
Do we need to say any more? It’s like a bouncy castle on steroids and we’ll be running along the 272m b
Our mates at LondOnTheInside have rounded up five things they’re pretty damn excited about this month.
Citadel Festival, Victoria Park, July 16
We’ve been counting down the days to Citadel ever since the ace line-up was announced. Bonobo is our all-time fave and we can’t wait to see him do his thing in the sun. And with Foals hitting the stage for their only UK festival set this summer, it’s gonna be one helluva party. See you at the beer tent.
Anthony Falco x Yard Sale, Clapton, Finsbury Park and Walthamstow, July 12-31
We’ll definitely be getting a pizza the action at Yard Sale this month. Anthony Falco, former chef of Roberta’s NYC, is cooking up a storm in Yard Sale’s kitchen, adding two of his signature pizzas and special to the menu. As well as eating the pizza, we’re looking forward to making our own in a masterclass with Anthony on July 15.
Rola Wala, Spitalfields, from July
Opening its first permanent site, Rola Wala is bringing its flavour rave to Spitalfields – and we’ll be first in the queue. With sourdough naan rolls and grain bowls, it’s gonna be our new go-to lunchtime spot. With most dishes under 500 calories, we won’t have to feel guilty about eating there every day either.
London Shuffle Club, Shoreditch, from July 5
We’ll be shuffling down to this club to kick ass this summer. We’ve been practising in NYC and now we’re ready to show off our skills at The London Shuffle Club. But don’t get too upset if you lose because, with pizza, cocktails a

MEATliquor x Square Pie, various locations, June 1-30
Buns are out and pastry is in as MEATliquor and Square Pie hook up for the mother of all collaborations. Pies and burgers are two of our fave things and we couldn’t be more excited to get our face in that Dead Hip-PIE: a burger encased in a shortcrust pastry base with a puff pastry lid. What more could you want?
Zoo Nights, ZSL London Zoo, June 2-30
Our Friday nights might not be as wild as they used to be, but that’s all about to change now Zoo Nights are back. London Zoo is opening its gates after-hours for a series of adults-only nights and we can’t wait to be sipping vino in the menagerie and finding out what the animals get up to after dark, in the birds and the bees: uncut.
G&T Ice Cream Parlour, The Hoxton, Shoreditch, June 9-11
It’s getting hot hot hot and we just wanna eat ice cream all day long. What’s better than ice cream? Boozy ice cream, and that’s why we can't wait for The G&T Ice Cream Parlour at The Hoxton, Shoreditch. Oh, and you can even top that botanical ice cream with dried olives, crystallised rosemary, botanical brittle, savoury wafer and gin-soaked orange peel: now that’s some fancy ice cream!
The Box Sample Sale, Hackney Walk, June 9-11
New season, new wardrobe. Which is why we’re heading to The Box’s latest sample sale to bag a bargain. There’s 80 percent off Gieves & Hawkes, Cerruti

Folk, YMC & Oliver Spencer Sample Sale, Shoreditch, May 5-7
We love a good bargain – and Folk, YMC & Oliver Spencer’s sample sale never fails to disappoint. With up to 80 percent off, we’ll be getting our game face on to fight it out for those threads. It’s cash only, so make sure you come prepared.
Pergola Paddington Central to open, Paddington, May 24
Pergola on the Roof won our hearts last summer, so we can’t wait to check out Pergola 2.0 in Paddington Central. We’re expecting summer vibes all round with new food stalls, DJs, lots of greenery and booze by the bucketload.
Camden Market Cheese Festival, Camden Town, May 6-7
Sweet cheesus! A cheese festival is coming to Camden Market and we couldn’t be more excited. If you need convincing, we’ll just say this: fried Swiss cheese balls. The two-day affair will see street foodies hook up with cheese makers to create some really grate treats. Oh, and there will be lots of booze.
Sandwich Festival, Hackney, May 20
Nothing beats a good sarnie – and we can’t wait to eat ourselves into a carb coma at London’s very first Sandwich Festival. Don’t miss our very own sarnie with Grill My Cheese – it’s got Pickled Onion Monster Munch in it, for God’s sake!
Señor Ceviche, Charlotte Street, end of May
We’re big fans of the original Señor Ceviche in Carnaby, but we’re expecting their second outpost on Charlotte Street to be
Our mates at LondOntheInside have rounded up five things they’re pretty damn excited about this April.
Yard Sale X Rola Wala, Various Locations, Apr 3-17
We can't wait to get a pizza the action from Yard Sale’s latest collab. They've hooked up with Rola Wala to bring two of our favourite things together: Indian and pizza. Yes, we’re talking Nagaland lamb, pomegranate, lemon raita, green sandwich chutney, fior di latte mozzarella and coriander all on top of Yard Sale’s 18-inchers. Delish.
London’s Biggest Beer Garden, Mile End, Apr 27-May 1
As soon as the sun’s out getting a seat in a beer garden becomes mission impossible, so it’s pretty damn exciting that London’s Biggest Beer Garden, with over 2,000 seats, is opening. And with two-pint steins we’ll probably need to sit down...
Lola James Harper Pop-Up, Islington, Apr 26-May 15
We bloody love those Lola James Harper candles and now they’re opening a pop-up in Paper Mache Tiger. With ping-pong, coffee and sofas, we can’t wait to chill out in their pop-up living room and we might just nab a few sweet-smelling goodies for our cribs too.
Lucky Peach x Eggbreak, Notting Hill, Apr 4
We were pretty gutted when we heard Lucky Peach was ending, but releasing a final double issue and new cookbook ‘All About Eggs’ deffo put smiles on our faces. And if you’re like us and not so much about the cooking but more about the eating, you can try out two of the recipes in the book – ‘Corned beef hash’ and ‘Spaghetti alla carbonara
Our mates at LondOntheInside have rounded up five things they’re pretty damn excited about this March.
Blacklock, The City, Mar 20
We cannot wait to get our chops around Blacklock's new joint. With new cuts of meat and a cocktail trolley, this one is gonna kick serious arse. But whether we're in Soho or the City we'll still be going all in – some things never change!
Inflatable Obstacle Course, Brockwell Park, Mar 25
A 5K race would never normally be our cup of tea, but when giant inflatables are involved we can get on board. The world's biggest inflatable obstacle course is coming town and we'll be the first ones sliding down that 200ft wet 'n' wild slide. See you at the start line.
Mulberry Sample Sale, Mayfair, until Mar 3
We love Mulberry but our pay cheque doesn't really stretch far enough to bag an Alexa. So we'll be getting our game face on with 75 percent off bags, purses, shoes and ready-to-wear at their sample sale. Handbags at the ready!
Spirit Of Prague, Old Truman Brewery, Mar 16-19
Finding a pint for less than a fiver is a real struggle these days, but we'll be saving the pennies at LBW's Spirit Of Prague Pop Up with their 70p pints. Of course there are few catches and you've got to say the secret password 'Pohoda' on arrival and be one of the first 100 people through the door after 6pm – but we'll happily run for 70p beer.
Meat Liquor's dog-themed menu, various locations, Mar 6–May 1
This month you can eat dogs to help dogs. No, we haven't gon

Yard Sale, Walthamstow, Feb 20–Feb 26
We love a good 18-incher, so we're pretty damn excited to hear that Yard Sale are taking theirs to Walthamstow. Not only is this gonna be their first joint with an actual yard (we're praying for sunshine at some point), they're also creating a brand new brunch menu. Pizza and dippy egg? IN. And to top it all off they're knocking 50 percent off food bills during their first week of opening. Wahoo!
Farang, San Daniele Highbury, Feb 3
After popping up all over town, Thai street food faves Farang are back at Highbury's San Daniele and we couldn't be happier. In for the long run, they're going all out with the food. We're talking pork belly and lobster lon curry, and grilled sardines with wild ginger nam jim jaew dressing. Yes, this one is seriously hot stuff.
Blacktail x The Bloomsbury Club Bar, Bloomsbury, Feb 9–Feb 11
Dry January is over and with one of NYC's best bars coming to London for three nights it's a bloody good job. Blacktail will be shaking up an exclusive menu of cocktails and putting a whole Cuban spin on The Bloomsbury Club, with a special food menu and music too. So if you don't fancy hopping across the Atlantic, you can get your NYC fix right here.
Bone Daddies James Street, Marylebone, Feb 10

Breddos Tacos, Clerkenwell, Dec 8
Some of our fave street-food traders have gone from pop-up to perm this year and we've been counting down the days until Breddos Tacos opens, because who doesn't want ice-cream tacos?! Oh and they're doing brekkie in January too. Hello, blueberry churro French toast!
Queens: Skate-Dine-Bowl, Queensway, Dec 8
It's had a pretty massive makeover and is now finally ready to open the doors. Yep, Queen's ice rink is back in business. As well as showing off our skills on the ice, we're gonna go full-on retro with bowling, 'Pac-Man', and piles of diner food from pop-up king Jimmy Garcia.
The New Zealand Cellar Garage Sale, Brixton, Dec 10
Boozy and bargain are two of our fave words at this time of year, so put them together and we are there. The NZ Cellar is doing just that with their garage sale, so you can pick up top-notch wines and beers at knock-down prices – perfect if you need to fill up your festive drinks cabinet. Best of all, you can try before you buy.
The Distillery, Portobello Road, Dec 16
We can't wait to check in at The Distillery, which is essentially a gin hotel. Over its four floors of gin goodness, visitors can eat, drink, sleep and repeat without even leaving the building. They've also opened the Ginstitute, where you can learn a bit more about the spirit and blend your own. And hey, if it's educational, it must be

BallieBallerson, Stoke Newington Road, Nov 4
Time to get balls deep in Dalston, folks. But don't worry, we're talking about a chest-high ball pit filled with 200,000 balls specifically for adults – and yes, there's a bar serving booze! We can't wait to perfect our ball-pit cannon ball.
The Great Escape First Fifty, various east-London venues, Nov 22–24
There's something special about discovering a new musical act, a band you stumble across before any of your mates. Yes, music geeks like us will be absolutely all over TGE First 50, showcasing 50 emerging artists that will feature at next year's festival. Taking over five east London venues, it's a downsized, more intimate affair which makes it even better too. Because who doesn't like bragging about catching a new band at one of their early intimate shows?
50 percent off dinner at Tabun, Soho, Nov 1–30
We've teamed up with Jerusalem street-food restaurant Tabun Kitchen to offer you lucky lot 50 percent off dinner for the WHOLE month. That's right, we're not even having a fa-laugh-fel. Well, we might be – that and the mixed grill sound right up our street.
Kitchin at Harrods, Knightsbridge, Nov 14–20
Scotland's finest Tom Kitchin is taking up residence at Harrods this month, serving up a menu that includes baked hand-dived Orkney scallops, Scottish Borders roe deer and Knockraich Farm yoghurt panna cotta. Yum. And he's

Singing Seesaws, Leicester Square Gardens, October 5-27
We're big kids at heart, so this had us singing from the rooftops. Fifteen luminescent singing seesaws are coming to Leicester Square and the best bit is, they're not just for kids.
The Wool BnB, Location TBC, October 10-16
Summer is officially over and we just want to snuggle up somewhere warm – and what better place than at The Wool BnB, covered from head to toe in the sheepy stuff? So if ewe want us, we'll be cosying up with a movie and having a little snooze in this wooly paradise.

We're never ones to turn down food, but 100 courses in 1,000 minutes, now that's a real challenge. London's Longest Dinner Party is here to help take on this marathon. Pack stretchy trousers, an empty belly and a lot of booze, is our advice.
Mulberry sample sale, The Music Rooms, October 3-7
Our paycheque never quite stretches far enough and that Mulberry bag is something that has only a
Our mates at LondOntheInside have rounded up five things they’re pretty damn excited about this month.
Björk Digital, Somerset House, September 1–October 23
Getting your cultural fix has gotten waaaay more fun this month. Björk's virtual-reality exhibition has just launched and just like everything she does it's pretty kooky. Think footage from inside her singing mouth, 360-degree videos of her singing on an Icelandic beach AND you can even see what she looks like as a giant moth. You heard.

London's hottest festival is back and we can't wait to feel that burn. From chilli cocktails to tasting sessions, it's all going on at The Festival Of Heat. Spice up your life.

Flamingo Pier, Hackney Wick, Aug 13
Back when Flamingo Pier first graced the Counter Café, we dubbed this the best party in London, and damn were we right. It's good times, good people, great food and even better music. FP are celebrating their two-year anniversary and putting on very a special night at Mick's Garage in Hackney Wick. This is unmissable.
Wing Fest, Dalston, Aug 20
Guaranteed to be clucking great fun, Wing Fest returns to crown the most badass wings in town – and we've been enlisted as one of the judges.
