Produced by LANG Director Laura Noble, 2017’s festival has been curated in response to recent dramatic political shifts, with the key themes being: Identity, Unity, Community, Harmony and Environment. Members are invited to an exclusive private view on May 15.

With the country’s morale at stake, untried screenwriter Catrin (Gemma Arterton) and a makeshift cast and crew work under fire to shoot a film to lift the nation’s flagging spirits and inspire America to enter the war. She’s partnered with fellow screenwriter Tom (Sam Claflin) and eccentric actor Ambrose (Bill Nighy). The trio set off to make a film that will warm the heart of the British nation and capture the imagination of the US public. Members are invited to an exclusive preview screening at Vue Piccadilly on April 18. The film opens nationwide on April 21.

Members are invited to the Eduardo Paolozzi retrospective at the Whitechapel Gallery for free, anytime throughout the exhibition. Paolozzi was one of the most innovative and irreverent artists of the twentieth century. Considered the ‘Godfather of Pop Art’, his collages, sculptures and prints challenged artistic convention. This major retrospective looks at his works, from the 1950s through the swinging ’60s to the advent of ‘Cool Britannia’ in the 1990s.      

April 1, The Rio Dalston  Tickets available here Meet Tommy Akhtar: a devoted son to an ailing father and a deadbeat private eye with a taste for bourbon and cigarettes. When high-class prostitute Melody walks into his office seeking his help he’s drawn into a murder investigation and a dangerous criminal underworld where he will discover dark secrets from his own past. Set in west London, ‘City of Tiny Lights’ is written by author Patrick Neate, based on his own novel, and directed by Pete Travis, starring Riz Ahmed and Billie Piper. Members are invited to an exclusive preview screening on April 1 and opens nationwide April 7.

April 24-27, 5.30pm Tickets available here ‘Star Wars: Identities’ takes you on an interactive journey to a galaxy far, far away, featuring a collection of 200 original props, costumes and art work from the Lucasfilm archives. You’ll see your favourite characters and create your own Star Wars hero via an interactive identity quest. Members are invited to attend the exhibition free, from 5pm on April 24-27.
