Alexis James is a freelance writer, podcaster, and author from Northumberland. His work focuses on people and places from outside of the mainstream– the untold and unsung.
Along with Time Out, he’s written for the BBC, Reader’s Digest, Culture Trip, and Philanthropy Age. His debut non-fiction book, Unsung, was published in 2022. When he’s not bundled up in his Barbour jacket walking the chilly Northumberland coast, you’ll find him at home playing Mario Kart with his wife and two daughters.
