Right now, Europe’s magnificent and ever-expanding night train network is the talk of travellers the world over. From a new service linking Brussels, Berlin and Amsterdam (which launches this very week) to countless other brand-new routes criss-crossing the continent, European sleepers are in the midst of a glorious revival.
If you’re itching to try out some of these new routes, we’ve got very exciting news indeed. One company is on the hunt for someone to travel across the breadth of Europe testing the continent’s exciting new night trains, all expenses paid.
The company in question is storage firm Radical Storage and it’s looking for a ‘Night Train Tester’ to pay to review sleeper routes. That’s right: you could get paid to travel by night train. All you have to do in return is write about your experiences and take a few photos and videos.
And that isn’t all. As well as paying for your ride on five different night trains, Radical Storage will buy you a monthlong Interrail pass, as well as give you £500 ($621) and a month’s worth of free luggage storage. In addition to reviewing the sleeper trains, you’ll also have to review the Radical Storage services you use throughout the trip.
Sounds pretty sweet, eh? To apply, candidates need to have good written English and be able to take high-quality videos and photos, as well as be over the age of 18 and legally allowed to travel around Europe.
