This converted shipping container has been dropped into the rolling fields of North Yorkshire in the UK – and transformed into a flowery paradise.

Almost every inch is covered in that most summery of flowers – the sunflower. The only gaps in the blossoming exterior are for huge floor-to-ceiling windows, which means you can gaze out over – you guessed it – a sunflower-filled landscape.

Ideal for a romantic getaway or an outdoorsy trip with friends, it comes equipped with a waterfall shower, wood-burning stove, hot tub and skylight for stargazing. Visitors to the hotel can also attend an hour-and-a-half floristry workshop, allowing you to contribute to the floral exterior.

The accommodation is run by travel company Kip & Nook, in collaboration with flower delivery firm Interflora. You can win a weekend at the hotel via their Instagram account, but be quick – the competition closes on Sunday August 22. Find out more here.

Plus: you can drink beer in the shower at this Manchester beer hotel.
