Whatever you think of the music of Prince (ask us? It’s great), the guy had style. Prince was lavish and glamourous to his core  and that’s certainly reflected in his holiday home in the Caribbean, which has just landed on the rental market.

The Emara Estate in the Turks and Caicos sits in the Turtle Tail district of the island of Providenciales, and was owned by the musician right up to his death in 2016. The residence formally known as belonging to Prince (get it?) boasts two villas – Emara East and Emara West – which between them house 17 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, plenty of infinity pools and rooms with sea views.

On top of all that, Emara has its own private peninsula and beachfront, as well as, obviously, lots of purple stuff. From a pool table and a tennis court to the driveway, purple is very much the main theme. The rental also comes with its own butler, housekeeper, security guard and, if you want it, a concierge team. Here are a few pics of the place.

As you can probably guess, all this doesn’t come cheap. The nightly rate for Emara Estate starts at £11,310 ($13,927), which, even if you manage to fill it to full capacity (34 guests) is shudderingly expensive.

Emara is being rented by fancy holiday home website OneFineStay and you can find out more on its official listing here. And if it’s all slightly out of your budget? Well, guess pulling up that purple driveway in a little red corvette (and maybe donning a raspberry beret) will have to remain the stuff of fantasy...

Did you see that you can rent the actual villa from ‘The White Lotus’ on Airbnb?
