Tired of going clubbing on holiday and having to suffer through crap DJs, weird crowds and all-around dodgy vibes? Well, here’s your chance to curate a holiday club night which is entirely your own: a rental in the UK that comes complete with its very own nightclub.
The rental is in Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire (aye, the same one as in Robin Hood) and it’s called The Secret Escape. Fashioned out of a converted barn, the building can sleep a whopping 26 people in 13 bedrooms, all of which have their own ensuite. It’s billed as being perfect for stag dos, hen parties, company holidays or getaways for really, really big families.
The all-important nightclub bit is in the basement – and it’s much more than just an empty room with some speakers. The area features a built-in hi-fi soundsystem and disco lights, as well as a bar area with beer taps. You’ll have to bring your own kegs, but even so, it’s a pretty spectacular setting. Here are a few more peeks at the place.
While the nightclub is undeniably The Secret Escape’s star attraction, it’s far from the only incredible thing about the house. It also has three hot tubs, its own games room (featuring air hockey, shoot ’em ups and retro arcade machines) and a huge, snazzy dining area.
On top of all that, the listing also offers options to add a private chef, an in-house barber and spa treatments. Pretty bloomin’ fancy or what, eh?
A week-long stay at The Secret Escape will set you back £11,285, which sounds like a hell of a lot of money – and it most certainly is. But if you fill up the place, that comes to only £62 per night for each person. Which, while still quite spenny, isn’t quite that bad.
