Drones have been around for a while now, but there’s still something magical about drone photography. That’s why we love the annual Drone Photography Awards: unless you’re a pilot, it’s the closest as you’ll get to travelling the world as a bird.
The above pic, which was one of the winners at this year’s awards, was taken by Marek Biegalski and captures two volcanic craters in Iceland that are filled with turquoise lakes. It’ll be exhibited alongside several other winning shots at an exhibition in Siena, Italy, from October 1 to November 20.
