We don’t want to jinx it, but it’s looking like springtime in the northern hemisphere has finally sprung. And look, we’re advocates for travel no matter the season (check out our monthly guides), but this time of year is a particularly glorious time to see the world.

To provide us with some fresh travel inspiration, Airbnb has just unveiled a list of trending destinations that have seen the biggest growth in searches compared to spring 2024.
One of the cities in the roundup is Amsterdam, the pretty Dutch capital, which without a doubt comes into its own at this time of year. Why? Well, the tulips of course! You can head to popular tulip spots such as Keukenhof from late March and marvel at one of the world’s most beautiful springtime flower displays.
But Amsterdam should also be on your radar this year because of one very important event – the city’s own 750th birthday celebrations. Throughout 2025 there’ll be huge parties, gigs, exhibitions and a whole load more, so have a gander at what’s on over the next few months to line up with your trip.
Other destinations include Ubatuba, a stunning beach destination in São Paulo state in Brazil (a great spot if you’re into surfing), and Milan, Italy’s fashion capital. But that’s far from all – check out the rest of the list below.
