Few TV shows have emerged over the last few years that have been as talked about, critically acclaimed and meme-worthy as ‘The White Lotus’. But it’s not just great drama, comedy and performances (we’re looking at you, Jennifer Coolidge) that have dazzled viewers since it aired in 2021, but the filming locations too.
And for those anxiously awaiting check-in for the third installment of the HBO drama, after its stints in Hawaii and Sicily, we’ve got exciting news – the hotels for the next season (which is set in Thailand) have finally been confirmed by Bloomberg, and they’re every bit as glorious as their predecessors.
First up, it’s the Four Seasons Resort on the Thai island of Koh Samui – as we predicted. It boasts 60 villas that rise up on stilts, all surrounded by towering palm trees with sweeping views of the Gulf of Thailand – there’s even a spa nestled amongst the jungle thickets. And it looks rather spectacular – here are some snaps of it.
The second location that’s been confirmed is the Anantara Mai Khao Villas in Phuket, which comprise a whopping 113 pool villas inspired by traditional Thai homes, a supersized tree house restaurant, and even a hotel boat. We’ve got some pics of this one, too.
Suitably lavish, right? Now to wait patiently for the release date...
And this is everything we know about the third installment of ‘The White Lotus’ so far.
