We recently reported New Zealand is the latest country to announce that it will be welcoming digital nomads (read more about that here), but there’s a whole host of emerging, digital nomad-friendly destinations that should be on your radar.

Printful, a print-on-demand company, has analysed a list of cities based on factors such as living costs, employment rates, co-working facilities, wifi speeds, and average salaries and assessed which ones have seen searches for remote work opportunities increase the most.

Topping the list of emerging digital nomad destinations is Jamaica, which has seen a whopping 250 percent increase compared to the previous year. And picture it: with all the palm-lined beaches, lush greenery and dramatic waterfalls to explore in your spare time, it could be quite an idyllic spot to set up that remote-working desk of yours.

Clearly though, people are keen for a taste of island life. Barbados, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and the Bahamas all made it into the ranking as well.

‘Embracing the digital nomad lifestyle can spark creativity and inspiration by immersing you in new cultures, diverse landscapes and unique experiences that shift your perspective,’ said Martins Rudzitis, IT Project Manager at Printful, according to Globe Trender

Check out the full list below.
