To a lot of people, classical art seems stuffy, uptight and boring. But while it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, that’s certainly not always the case. Especially when the internet’s favourite adult entertainers are offering up their services as your tour guide.
In an effort to encourage tourists to return to art galleries and museums as they reopen after lockdown, adult website Pornhub has teamed up with six major institutions across the world to produce a ‘Classic Nudes’ museum guide.
Covering thirty famous works found at the National Gallery in London, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Prado in Madrid, the Uffizi in Florence and the Louvre and Musee d’Orsay in Paris, the guide features audio tours, articles and annotated maps to help visitors discover the fun, titillating and downright provocative side of classical art.
And before you Google it from your work computer, the guide also contains one or two extremely NSFW ‘recreations’ of masterpieces that are probably best viewed at home.
