Travel trends come and go, but we can safely place our bets that honeymoons are here to stay. As is appropriate for the official month of love, searches for the best destinations to head off with the love of your life have soared by 32 percent, according to Travelbag.
So, with that in mind, the platform has analysed a bunch of factors, including the proportion of romantic restaurants, adult-only hotels, couples activities, average costs for a two-week stay and UK Google search volume to compile a list of the top honeymoon destinations for 2025.
RECOMMENDED: These are officially the most romantic Airbnbs on the planet.
Topping the list? It’s Bali, the paradise-like, white sandy beach-lined Indonesian island.
Cost-wise, it’s on the more reasonable end of the destinations on this list, with a 14-night couples’ stay averaging around £1,966. What’s more, 46 percent of the local activities are considered ‘good for couples’ – see more about our favourite things to do in Bali here – and the island brags 1,267 romantic restaurants.
St Lucia claims second place, and the Seychelles claims third, the former offering the highest proportion of adult-only hotels, the latter with a 27 percent proportion of its restaurants offering a romantic vibe.
