Picture the scene: you’re on the sun-soaked Caribbean island of Aruba, surrounded by clear blue waters, swaying palm trees and white sand beaches. But you’re not on holiday. Oh no. You’re actually paid to be there. Sounds pretty incredible, right?

That’s what’s being offered by the Boardwalk Hotel Aruba, in the island’s Palm Beach resort area. The Boardwalk is looking for a ‘social media resident’, who will be paid a monthly allowance and also be provided with free flights, on-site accommodation, all meals and even a rental car.

So far as jobs go, this one sounds absolutely dreamy. The lucky candidate will get to experience the finest that Aruba and the Boardwalk have to offer, documenting it all on social media. According to the job posting, the hotel’s ideal social media resident will need to be passionate about palm trees (who isn’t?) and good at taking photos and videos.

Believe us, there’s a heck of a lot at the Boardwalk worth screaming about on social media. The hotel’s 46 boutique casitas are ridiculously photogenic, and so too are the lush flower gardens, idyllic palm trees and unspoiled beaches. And if you do a good job making both the hotel and Aruba look good, there’s the option to extend your residency. So no pressure.

If all this sounds like your kind of thing (and if it doesn’t, are you totally mad?), you can apply here until March 30.
