From Salt-N-Pepa 90s classic ‘Shoop’ in the opening scene of the first Deadpool movie, to Celine Dion's camp power ballad ‘Ashes’ in the sequel's credits, the 'Merc with a Mouth' has a stellar track record when it comes to bringing the bops.

Deadpool & Wolverine continues the trend, with a soundtrack that brings in everyone from Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, to Emo Princess Avril Lavigne, and a battle of the boybands with 90s boyband heartthrobs *NSync and K-Pop phenomenon, Stray Kids.

Most exciting of all is the inclusion of The Greatest Showman – starring Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman, on lead vocals. Ryan Reynolds recently said a planned Wolverine musical number had been scrapped, perhaps he was double-bluffing and we will get the adamantium-clawed beast going full jazz hands on us.

Where can I listen to the Deadpool & Wolverine soundtrack?

Spotify has a playlist with the soundtrack of all three Deadpool movies. On July 24, digital albums for the Deadpool & Wolverine Original Score and Soundtrack will land, with composer Rob Simonsen at the helm.

The soundtrack will also be available on CD and a 12-inch 2-LP vinyl on July 26, complete with art prints and coloured vinyl to match the superhero duo.

When is Deadpool & Wolverine released?

Deadpool's long-awaited arrival to the Marvel Cinematic Universe lands in cinemas on Thursday, July 23.

It will eventually be available on Disney+, but don't expect it to land until the very end of 2024. In the meantime, catch up on all the previous Deadpool and X-Men movies on the streaming service.
