Our COVID-19 summer has undoubtedly been marked by the return of the drive-in movie theater and, now, the phenomenon will likely take over our fall schedules as well. Through October 31, three staples of the season will be playing across cinemas and drive-ins all over the world: John Carpenter's original 1978 Halloween, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers. Expect a restored and remastered digital print to take over the screen and remind you of what a truly genius horror franchise can do.

CineLife Entertainment, Compass International Pictures and Trancas International Films partnered up to make this awesomeness possible: 225 screens, 104 of which are at drive-in theaters, have already been booked for the affair.

"For generations of horror film fans who weren’t able to experience the original classic franchise in theaters, and even for those who remember when the films first premiered, we hope to capture the same thrilling and hair-raising atmosphere for all viewers to enjoy this quintessential Halloween experience,” said Bernadette McCabe, CineLife Entertainment's Executive Vice President, in an official statement announcing the news.

To find out which participating theater is closest to you, just plug in your zip code right here (you can already buy tickets for showings!). If you intend to catch the flick indoors, be sure to wear a mask, of course. It'll be rather fitting given the movie you'll be watching, after all.
