Imagine having the best chefs, bartenders and little bits of culture from across your favourite city all under one dazzling roof. You wouldn’t have to traipse around hunting for the top places to eat and drink, as they’d all be at your fingertips.
Well, you don’t have to imagine. Time Out Market is already in action in a whole host of cities across the world, including Lisbon, New York, Boston, Montreal, Chicago and Dubai, and excitingly, we’ve just opened another.
The seaside spot in question? It’s Cape Town, the vibrant, mountainous South African city. Time Out Market opens there today, just in time for summer (in the Southern Hemisphere, obvi).
Time Out Market Cape Town is located in the bustling, beautiful V&A Waterfront, overlooking the sea. In fact, Cape Town’s culinary heritage has been influenced by its history as a trading port. At Time Out Market, the roster of 13 kitchens house some of the city’s most innovative chefs and restaurateurs.
There’s also a fantastic selection of bars, including Dry Dock Bar, a spot for premium cocktails, and great craft beer at Pumphouse Bar.
