You might’ve heard of Corona Sunsets World Tour, the traveling festival that tours the world’s most legendary sunsets, but have you heard of Corona Island?
Nestled in the Colombian Caribbean, boasting tropical forests and a beach of powdery white sand is an island run by – you guessed it – the beer brand Corona, and for the first time since 2021, travellers can now book to visit.
Until now, accessing the island had been on an invite-only basis, but from this month the Corona website will facilitate daytime and overnight bookings, as will Airbnb, Expedia and Booking.com.
Options include a day pass, which starts from £126 and includes a round-trip speed boat from Cartagena, along with a seafront sun lounger, yoga, stand-up paddle-boarding and kayaking, and a three-course a la carte lunch (with some Coronas, obvs).

For £379, you can also book either a twin or king bungalow for two to stay overnight. Sounds like a solid option for a romantic getaway, right?
But this place doesn’t just sound like holiday paradise – it’s something of an ‘eco-protected natural paradise’, too. The island has been awarded a three-star plastic-free Blue Seal for eliminating single-use of the stuff by Oceanic Global, a conservation group, and it uses local ingredients for cooking, traditional building techniques and solar energy.
