Whether you’re a diehard sports fan or just someone after an amazing Christmas present, listen up. This Thursday, a final round of tickets for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be released, and spots to watch all sports are up for grabs.

A third of all tickets will be available to purchase for €50 (£43, $55) or less, and almost two-thirds for less than €100 (£86, $110). After the first round of draws, where many were disappointed by a complex booking system and extortionate prices, this is quite the treat.

To nab your place (or 30, which is the maximum that can be bought at once), you have to follow a much simpler system we all know and love: first come, first served.

There’ll be a tonne of tickets available for sports such as athletics (30,000) and tennis (24,000), but a more limited number for things like judo, fencing and urban sports.

And even more excitingly, tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies are available for purchase, too, though these might set you back quite a lot more. To view the commencing of the games, expect to pay from €90 and €500 (£78-£434, $98-$548) and to watch the closing ceremony, tickets range from €45 to an eye watering €600 (£39-£520, $49-$657.75).

While those prices are pretty-sky high, catching the greatest show on earth would be quite the opportunity. To be in with a chance, head to the official ticketing website at 10am CET on November 30. Meet you at the starting blocks at 9.59am.
