If you fell in love with The Adventures of Pete & Pete in the '90s, and your kids fell in love with the reruns, you're in luck. You can finally hear Polaris live (you know, the group that wrote that catchy opening song) for an extremely rare live se, plus a performance of "Killer Tofu," by the creators of the music in Doug. There will be a guest panel with some Golden Age Nickelodeon stars, including big and little Pete (Mike Maronna and Dann Tamberelli, respectively) and some very special undisclosed panelists. When the army of nerds invades Gotham this October, round up your minifans and check out New York Super Week (October 3–12), a companion pop-culture festival hosting heroic happenings all over town including meet-and-greets with stars and interactive theater for kids. Track down some comic-themed kids' Halloween costumes and peep the full list of events at the Super Week website, then start making a plan of attack for the entire family. After all, if you're not too old for that Thor costume, neither are your kids.
