Columbia University is unearthing priceless materials from their comics archives just in time for NYSW. Kids can see art from MAD artist All Jaffee, Elfquest artist Wendy Pini, drafts and notes from X-Men writer Chris Claremont and Legion of Super-Heroes writer Paul Levit, and correspondence with comics luminaries Stan Lee, harvey Kurtzman and Howard Cruse in the Rare Book & Manuscript Libraries. The opening event and reception will be held on Oct 7 at 6pm, and the exhibit will remain open through January 23, 2015. Ages 6 and up.
