Street performer Will (Sturridge) is a wacky spirit. You can tell from his daily uniform of plaid pajamas---and because he follows his crush, actress Emma (Bilson), all over the country even though they haven't actually spoken since elementary school. When her father's fatal illness brings her to their hometown, Will finally declares his love to her. Naturally, high jinks ensue. Maybe it's this soapy saga's cocktail of the worst of both the Lifetime network and self-consciously quirky indie cinema, but the strong supporting cast (including Jenkins and Blythe Danner) looks downright queasy in every frame.
