Time Out says

As with most DIY, max-out-the-MasterCard dream projects, the scrappy backstory to this bland baseball drama makes the end product seem superfluous. Logan and Noah Miller came out of left field to write, direct and star in a semiautobiographical, if still fictionalized, version of their lives: Twin brothers return home from on-field disappointments to tend to their alcoholic father (Harris), and find ways to shout “We must stick together!”—while tooling around shirtless—in the process. Although convincing as athletes, neither Miller belongs on a movie screen; personal parable or not, this feels like a too-familiar trip around the bases.—Eric Hynes
