Not to be confused with the '40s boxing classic, this is a double-crossing latter-day caper, with security expert Zane working for banker Coburn, and in the process falling for his daughter Sara. His old buddy Russo then becomes the fly in the ointment, holding her hostage to force Zane into breaking into the bank for him. And there are further complications on the way, in a movie that's more plot than characterisation, and is already doomed from the moment they cast the synthetic male lead. Based on James Hadley Chase's My Laugh Comes Last.
