Paul's documentary about Argentinian singer Mercedes Sosa's return to her native country, after a three-year exile caused by the Junta's censorship of her politically oriented songs, is something of a fiasco. Sloppily put together, it substitutes banal propaganda and sycophantic hagiography for an analysis either of the political problems facing the Argentinian people, or of Sosa's own elevated position as a celebrated national heroine.
