Pelin Esmer's 2005 documentary ‘Queen Lear' is a sequel to ‘Oyun’, and focuses on a tour of the surrounding villages of Arslanköylü theater women. The film premiered at the Sarajevo Film Festival and won the Siyad and Yılmaz Güney Awards at the Adana Film Festival. Following the footsteps of a theater company founded in a village in the Taurus Mountains in the 2000s, the film tells of the self-confidence and independence gained by the characters' relationship with the theater.
