It’s not just Hollywood filling the multiplexes with kid’s fare this year as August will welcome the release of Kai, the latest animation from Korean filmmaker Lee Sung-gang, known for My Beautiful Girl, Mari and Yobi, the Five Tailed Fox. In the film, a young man is given the key to saving his village by a river spirit after a curse is cast by an evil snow queen. Kai is also produced by Yeon Sang-ho, the director behind this summer’s action extravaganza Train to Busan.
