Time Out says

With a musical wizard like Brian Eno, the godfather of ambient, it’s best to expect the unexpected. Even so, generative documentary ‘Eno’ is a daring leap. Director Gary Hustwit’s film explores a new frontier of filmmaking: see it on Saturday and then see it again on Sunday, and you’ve watched two different films. The film(s) draws on millions of possible variations of scenes and archive footage – including hundreds of hours of hitherto unseen footage and unheard music – to create a constantly evolving picture of Eno’s life and work. Fans of the David Bowie producer, ‘Top Boy’ scorer, ‘Music for Airports’ composer and all-round legend of soothing soundscapes will not need a second invite – but they might fancy a second viewing.
