EDC 2013: Under the Electric Sky

EDC stands for Electric Daisy Carnival, which is precisely what it sounds like: a vast dance music festival attended by ravers and revellers from across the USA. The festival is infamous for its dedication to visual excess, featuring wild pyrotechnics, circus performers, spectacular costumes and epic lightshows. This documentary – shot in 3D – follows several groups of partygoers as they travel to the 2013 event in Las Vegas. You’ll know already whether this is your sort of thing: old-school ravers will doubtless get a kick out of the big-league DJs and cosmic visuals, while those who fear the repetitive beat are likely to find it all very tedious.
