Time Out says

Just when you think you’re about to fall for this fuzzy sci-fi romance, it disappears into its own navel. Like ‘500 Days of Summer’, it tells the story of a relationship in a non-linear order – throwing in a bit of ‘Interstellar’-style parallel-universe-bending by way of explanation. Dell (Justin Long) meets Kimberly (Emmy Rossum) at a meteor shower viewing in an LA cemetery. Your standard-issue Woody Allen-type male, Dell is neurotic and hyper-intelligent. He thinks Kimberly is beautiful and funny with a hint of crazy – ie his perfect woman. She thinks he’s weird but cute. There’s actually decent chemistry between the two actors and the script snaps at times with smarter-than-average dialogue. But the clever-clever conceit brings the whole thing down to earth with a bump.
