If you've been out partying lately in Manchester you may have been handed a postcard with nothing on it but a hashtag.
That's because The Liars Club is looking for Manchester’s biggest lie with the launch of the #ImNotLying campaign. They want to find Manchester's best kept secrets and the best lies people have told which, when all collected, will be displayed anonymously in club.
Once all of the postcards are gathered, via strictly scientific research, (Liar Club staff and a few of their delicious cocktails), will provide in depth analysis of the types of lies that are being told by Mancunians and what kinds of secrets are being kept. The answer to what makes Manchester's biggest lie will be revealed on World Truth Day on July 7, and the cards will form an artwork inside The Liar's CLub.
If you haven't had a postcard but you're desperate to confess something, there's no need to head to a church. Simply head to The Liar's Club on social via their Facebook or Twitter pages.
And if you've ever wondered why the club is named after such an immoral act, here's why. According to Lyndon Higginson, Executive Director of The Liars Club, 'The Liars Club was named such because the intention is always to go out for one, however you end up staying out all night and then have to come up with an alibi.'
So now you know. Or are we lying?
