Christopher Guest does telly! Okay, so it’s another semi-improvised mockumentary. But, as Ricky Gervais told us, if anyone has earnt the right to recycle the formula, it’s the man who turned it into an art form. And, during our visit to the set last year, it seemed the impressive cast – ranging from Guest regulars Michael McKean and Fred Willard to relative newcomers Chris O’Dowd (as the central character, a sad sack exploring his increasingly bizarre lineage) and Nina Conti – were as excited about it as we are.
If you love Christopher Guest, watch out for...
‘Nixon’s the One’ - (Sky Arts 1)
‘Community’ - (Sony Entertainment TV, starts Mar 22, 11pm)
Season three of the campus-set comedy with Chevy Chase
‘Moone Boy’ - (Sky1, summer 2013)
Chris O’Dowd back for more in the nostalgic charmer
