Chicago-based Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises (ouch!) is responsible for, among others, the Eiffel Tower Restaurant and this spot on the ground floor. While the Eiffel is decidedly upscale, Mon Ami Gabi wears its French theming more casually. As such, it’s enjoyable. Breakfast and lunch specialties run from classic quiche lorraine to a tuna melt, while we recommend the filet mignon merlot (with a red wine reduction) for dinner. It’s a people-watching paradise, too, especially from the alfresco bit.
