Mariah Carey may be the Queen of Christmas but a certain EGOT-winner is ready for some Christmas shine of her own. Jennifer Hudson will take the Fontainebleau stage this weekend, December 21 and 22, to perform the songs off her first-ever holiday album, The Gift of Love.
The two concerts are a rare present for her fans, who can get in the holiday spirit before the show with a visit to the Fontainebleau ice rink. Here are all the details on her can’t-miss holiday performances.
Where is Jennifer Hudson performing?
The award-winning singer’s show, The Gift of Love: An Intimate Live Experience, stops in Las Vegas for two nights at BleauLive Theater inside Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Saturday, December 21 and Sunday, December 22, 2024. Showtime is 8pm.
This is a holiday show. What is she going to sing?
In October, Hudson released a 15-track holiday album, The Gift of Love. She will be performing songs off the album that include Christmas classics like “Hallelujah,” “O Holy Night,” “Winter Wonderland” and, of course, “Jingle Bells,” alongside some holiday originals.
Hudson is an EGOT winner. Remind me what she’s won.
Of the 27 EGOT recipients, Hudson is the youngest woman to obtain this status. (EGOT is an acronym for having won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award.) Hudson is a Daytime Emmy winner and two-time Grammy-Award-winning recording artist. She won an Oscar for her role as “Effie” in Dreamgirls and a Tony Award as coproducer on “A Strange Loop,” which was named Best Musical in 2022.
