Dogs dine too. Palate, the funky Arts District restaurant in downtown Las Vegas, has just introduced a Puppy Hour menu that caters to our city’s urban dogs with some rather fancy offerings.

As many know, Las Vegas is a very dog-friendly city. There are plenty of dog parks and restaurants that allow our four-legged friends on the patio but Palate, which opened in May and launched the puppy program this week to coincide with the cooler temperatures, is unleashing a couple dog treats that will surely become your pooch’s favorites.

On the menu: a Barkuterie Board composed of dog jerky, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and a peanut butter pumpkin puree ($10), as well as a Pupper-tini, a chicken bone broth “cocktail” with pumpkin puree, topped with whipped cream and pumpkin seeds ($5). Puppy Hour is available Wednesday through Saturday from 4 to 6pm.

“This launch has been in the works since our opening,” explains Rudy Aguas, Palate’s managing partner. “We wanted to ensure the timing was perfect, so pets could safely enjoy our patio without the intense summer heat. Now, with cooler weather and the holiday spirit in the air, we are excited to bring dog owners together.”

Dog owners can also indulge with happy hour specials that include local brews ($5), wine ($8) and a handful of specialty cocktails ($9), along with snacks like oysters, pork buns and longganisa sliders. Palate is located in the Arts District at 1301 South Main Street.
