You’ll find more than just golf balls sailing above Atomic Golf: The massive four-story driving range, restaurant and bar complex is adding weekly drone shows to its repertoire.

The first Las Vegas residency drone show (we expect it won’t be the last in this copycat town) was unveiled last week. Naturally, the drones fly into formation and show a golfer striking a ball but they also zip through the sky and reveal dancing showgirls and so much more you’ll have to see for yourself.

The show utilizes between 200 and 1,000 drones (it varies from week to week) to create the spectacle, which will occur every Thursday night at 9pm and again at 11pm. For now, it’s expected to run for 12 weeks (that’s into October). Admission to the show is free.

Sitting in the shadow of the STRAT, Atomic Golf is more than just a 103-bay driving range. They also have a high-tech Putting District with projection mapping, six bars, a Tap Room with more than a dozen locally brewed beers and a food menu with items like kalua pork quesadillas, specialty flatbreads and truffle lobster popcorn.

“This is another evolution of our offerings,” Alex Christiansen, Atomic Golf’s creative director said in a press release. “With our nightly laser show already captivating audiences, a residency drone show perfectly enhances the Atomic Golf experience.”

While it may be the city’s only drone show it’s not the only weekly illuminated event in the sky. The Plaza Hotel and Casino is launching fireworks over Downtown Las Vegas every Friday at 9:15pm through Labor Day.
