It feels like autumn inside the Bellagio’s new fall botanical display.
Called “The Garden of Time,” the fall forest scene inside the Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens features a fairy treehouse with a double waterfall, a deer sculpted from driftwood and 475 pumpkins—including one that weighs 749 pounds.
There’s also an ivy-draped wooden bridge that leads to a rustic, moss-covered cottage with dozens of woodland animal sculptures playing in the underbrush plus fairies and dragonflies dangling over the entire scene. The scent of spiced apple cider is piped in adding to the overall experience.
The conservatory is also home to one of the most unique dining opportunities in Las Vegas. The Garden Table is an intimate six-seat table hidden within the display. Diners can reserve the table for either brunch from Sadelle’s or dinner from Michael Mina.
Sadelle’s brunch menu ($125 per person prix fixe menu or $195 with bottomless mimosas) includes a salmon tower with caviar and bagels and a choice of steak and eggs, French toast with berries or salmon Benedict, along with dessert and drinks. Four seatings are available daily (7am, 9am, 11am and 1pm) and reservations are required.
The Michael Mina Garden Table menu follows the fall theme. Highlights include beet rose hamachi crudo with carrot, ginger and sesame, a Jack-B-Little-Pumpkin with honeynut squash, apple velouté, jamón ibérico and porcini mushroom, Maine halibut with parsley root and filet mignon with wild mushrooms and hazelnuts. Seatings for the Michael Mina prix fixe garden dinner ($195 per person) are available Wednesday through Sunday at 5:30pm and 8:30pm.
“The Garden of Time” display, designed by Ed Libby and the resort’s horticulture team, runs through November 9.
