Ice Ice Vegas Baby, Vegas! Sorry, this sizzling heat is melting my brain and has me writing Jeopardy mash-up clues. But for those familiar with the two ’90s pop culture references (answer: who are Vanilla Ice and Swingers), keep reading because you’ll likely find this cool deal to your liking.

After shattering all-time temperature records for the past week (topping out at 120-degrees), people in Las Vegas are in need of a place to cool off. Whether it’s escaping to Mount Charleston or just soaking in a pool, where else do you find relief?

Enter Minus5º ICEBAR with a Strip alternative. The ice attraction is launching a “Polar Passport” offering visitors unlimited three-day access to all three Las Vegas Strip locations. So anyone planning to visit Mandalay Bay, the LINQ Promenade or Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian can get in on the game.

With its cutesy name, the $79 “V-ICE-P” package provides pop-in access for three consecutive days. Along with entry, the pass includes gloves and a faux fur coat at each ice lounge, two ice cocktails and 20% off drinks at any Minus5º daiquiri bar.

In addition to the images captured with the intricate chainsaw-created sculptures, you’ll also become the proud owner of a souvenir cap, joining an exclusive club (I own a white fur Minus5º trapper hat that’s ideal for Vegas winters). Yes, it snows here.

But if hiding in a fake igloo for your entire trip isn’t in the plans, Minus5º ICEBAR offers a couple other entertainment packages like the “Arctic Bundle” and “Fire and Ice.” These combine ICEBAR entry, booze, a souvenir and entry and an additional drink to its affiliated 1923 Prohibition Bars. Minus5º is family-friendly but the kids will need to steer clear of the boozy Dole Whip.
