Calling all wizards and witches. Las Vegas is in its Potter era.

Harry Potter pop-ups are magically appearing this month. A pair of Ellis Island Casino events (a brunch and movie night) along with a Las Vegas Aviators baseball cap giveaway join the ongoing, intense action of the Potted Potter parody stage show—a comedic retelling of all seven books in 70 minutes.

Known for karaoke and craft beer, Ellis Island is welcoming wizards to the Front Yard for two Potter-themed weekend events kicking off with a brunch on July 13. As if we needed to tell you, costumes are encouraged.

The Half Brunch Prince (10am–3pm) will feature a spellbinding meal with bottomless mimosas, butterbeer ($5) and food specials such as fluffy Honeydukes Pancakes drizzled with a bourbon maple syrup ($12). A live DJ will create the vibe.

Then on July 19, Potter fans will don their cloaks again and flock back to the Front Yard for a Potter-themed dining experience and screening of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (7–10pm) on the bar’s 18-foot big-screen TV. Potter fans will dine on Wizards Stuffed Potato Skins, shepherd’s pie stuffed in potato skins with melted cheese ($16), and sip on cocktails like the tequila and elderflower-flavored Tongue Tying Lemon Squash ($12), along with a champagne and ginger beer Felix Felicis ($12) and a michelada called the Three Headed Dog ($14).

That same night (July 19 at 7pm), the Aviators are celebrating “You’re a Wizard Harry!” and offering a ticket and hat package (starting at $34) that includes a baseball cap featuring your favorite Hogwarts house. Choose wisely, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin fans.
